KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 6): The investigation papers regarding the leaked documents in the case of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor have been handed back to the police for some clarification.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said the documents for the two cases were resubmitted for the first time after being submitted to the deputy public prosecutor on August 30, while the documents related to Najib’s case were resubmitted on Sept 5, but were returned. Some details need to be done.
“We are doing our best to complete the investigation papers as soon as possible, after getting advice from the deputy public prosecutor,” he said at a press conference at the Kuala Lumpur contingent police headquarters here on Tuesday (6 Sep).

A total of 27 individuals were called to record their statements, 17 related to Najib’s case and 10 to Rosmah’s case after the Office of the Registrar General of the Federal Court made a police report regarding alleged leaked documents.
In a separate development, Azmi said the investigation papers against PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli, who is accused of slandering Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions) Datuk Dr Abd Latiff regarding the littoral combat ship (LCS) project, are still being completed and are expected to be referred to the deputy public prosecutor this week. this.
Rafizi allegedly made four defamatory statements on August 22, 25, 26 and 29 last in a blog which was later shared on Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
